Data controller

The controller of personal data is LITTLE ITALY, 29 Place du Forum des Cardeurs, 13100 Aix-en-Provence. Contact: saslittleitaly@gmail.com or 04 42 50 31 61.

No data protection officer (DPO) has been appointed, as the nature and volume of processing do not require one.

A site that collects nothing

This is a showcase website. It has no forms, no user accounts, no ordering area and no database. We therefore collect no personal data about you directly during your visit.

Reservations are taken by telephone only. Information you give us verbally is not recorded automatically by this site.

Cookies and trackers

The site sets no advertising cookies and uses no analytics tool.

One single piece of information is stored in your browser's local storage: your choice regarding the display of the Google Maps map. This storage is strictly necessary to honour your decision and avoid asking again on every visit. It stays on your device, is never sent to a server, and you can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Google Maps

The interactive map is provided by Google Maps, a service of Google Ireland Limited. It is loaded only after your explicit consent.

When you accept, your browser connects to Google's servers, which may then process data about you: IP address, browser and device type, page visited, and where applicable any cookies already present on your device under your Google account.

  • Purpose: displaying the restaurant's location
  • Legal basis: your consent (GDPR, article 6(1)(a))
  • Recipient: Google Ireland Limited and its processors
  • Transfer outside the EU: possible to the United States, governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework

If you decline, the map is not loaded and no connection to Google is made. A plain link to Google Maps remains available and is only followed if you click it. Google's own practices are described in its privacy policy.

Hosting logs

Like any web server, our host OVH SAS automatically records connection logs containing the IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested and the browser type.

  • Purpose: service security, abuse prevention, technical diagnostics
  • Legal basis: the publisher's legitimate interest in the security and availability of the site (GDPR, article 6(1)(f))
  • Retention: in line with the host's policy and statutory retention obligations, up to one year

Retention periods

Map preference stored on your device: until you change it or clear the site's data, and in any case no longer than thirteen months.

Technical hosting logs: one year at most.

Your rights

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your data
  • Right to rectification
  • Right to erasure
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to object
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand

To exercise these rights, write to saslittleitaly@gmail.com or by post to 29 Place du Forum des Cardeurs, 13100 Aix-en-Provence. You will receive a reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested in the event of reasonable doubt as to your identity.

Complaints

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority: CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or online at www.cnil.fr.
